Helen – a roomy, light and airy house
The central architectural idea of the house was to blend into the existing environment surrounded by beautiful nature and create an aesthetic and functional living room. The keywords are linearity, proportion, balance, golden section. The architectural language of the building is easy to comprehend, the square-shaped main plan is partially on two floors. The roof of the single-storey part has been designed into a roof terrace. The facade is not very structured which makes the building economic as to engineering physics.
The logic in making the plan was the idea of taking the whole heated room into use to the maximum extent; corridors and dead ends were avoided. One of the important starting points was the prerequisite that plenty of natural light must reach into all rooms – they must have space, light and air.

As the objective was a practical and high-quality one-family house, the main issue of the design was functionality. When planning this house we moved from inside to the outside. The first step was to map the activities and movements of all family members in the building and the space necessary for that. Then we dealt with the functional relations of the rooms, at the same time moving on with the design development and volume planning, so that the views and plans would be in symbiosis.
Thanks to the long-term experience in fulfilling customers' wishes we have come up with four preselections or packets in order to facilitate the process of purchasing home. The selection of packets gives client a clear and quick vision of what Seve is offering and lets Seve understand customers' wishes.
